The TribitXSound Go has no business sounding as good as it does for the price it sells
for. And yet it does. Its battery life is even double that of the Beats Pill
and on par with the Anker Soundcore. It makes you wonder how these
other companies can justify their prices. While it does have a small bit of
distortion at max volume, the Tribit XSound Go is still one of the best
Bluetooth speakers around.

Performance
The battery life for the Tribit portable Bluetoothspeaker clocks in at about 24 hours. By comparison, Anker Soundcore, a big-name
player in the portable Bluetooth speaker world, also clocks in at 24 hours.
Kudos to Tribit for matching this. And don’t believe the adage about getting
what you pay for. The sound quality on the Tribit is excellent with the ability
to fill a medium-sized room and only a little bit of distortion when played at
max volume. Also, check out the Tribit StormBox micro Bluetooth speaker
review for a speaker that plays full-sounding trebles and mids. Still, if
you’re looking for name-brand recognition and ear-exploding sound quality go
with the JBL Charge 4.
Design
The Tribit XSound Go won’t be winning any design awards
because of its generic, pill-shaped design, but you shouldn’t let that make you
gloss over it. The XSound Go is durable, rugged, and can be thrown down a
flight of stairs without any worry. The buttons are large, and easy to use, and
the Tribit XSound even comes with a headphone jack. With many Bluetooth
speakers opting to forego this feature, it’s nice to see a company include it
in their Bluetooth speaker. If a headphone jack isn’t for you and you prefer
something more modern, consider the Bose SoundLink Color II.
Value
The Tribit XSound Go will cost you about $40, so don’t
worry about forgetting it at the beach or by your friend’s pool because you can
easily go out and just grab another one. By the way, it’s IPX7 rated too, so
don’t worry too much about dropping it in your friend’s pool for a second or
two either. It even comes with its own carrying case, but unfortunately, this
is sold separately for about $10.00. If you’re looking for another similar,
inexpensive, and small-style Bluetooth speaker, please try the Oontz Angle
3.
